Clean hotel with stylish rooms and friendly staff. Convenient location near subway stations and major attractions. Good choice of bars and restaurants.

The hotel staff were very helpful. It really helped that everyone, from the room cleaners to the reception, spoke fairly good English. The swimming pool and the gym were very good as well. The hotel is located in the city centre and is close to a metro station.

Ratio quality over price is very good, staff very helpful, nice buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and excellent central location close to Tien'anmen Square
Minor point: no Flat TV in the room, only obsolete standard TV.

The lobby area
This hotel is quite far out from the main city, although taxis are verry cheap to get around (if you can get one) Excellent staff but that is about all the hotel had going for it. Quite dated over priced rooms

The location is the main disadvantage of the hotel for me but if you can take a taxi, its not a problem. Anything else was good and I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is located a bit far from the city life, it's about 10 minutes walk from Wangfujing. The Hotel Novotel, which is not far from the Capital Hotel, is located closer to the subway station and city lights.

Pretty good location - close to the biggest sq. (Forfbidden City, etc,) and to their famous shopping Str. (Wanfudzin? forgot the name). On the cross-road to the left of the hotel (near big Department Store) - "massage from blind men". Great! And very cheap. The pool is free for the hotel guests. Good air condition (otherwise we would die - such terrible hot weather was in Beiging in the end of July). In general - very good impression of this hotel - big, nice, comfortable.
The pool is closed at 23.00, so we often we were late to visit it. And the water wa too warm in it (for myself! for my ferinds it was ok))). Terrible prices in their night restaurant...

Great hotel in a good location! The staff were efficient and friendly and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable including the bathroom. Would definitely stay again!
Wifi was available in the foyer, not in the rooms and was charged on an hourly or 24 hr basis, and was quite expensive. We also asked to check out one hour later but were told that the hotel was too busy! Apart from that we enjoyed our stay!

The location was great and the hotel common areas are really nice. The price was a good value.
We stayed in tower two facing the busy street. It was really loud - our friends stayed in tower one facing the Forbidden City - the price was the same... Our ac did not work and we couldn't open the window because of the noice. We asked if maintenance could check on it but nothing was ever done. We slept in a sauna every night.

Near to Tianiman Square Large room and hotel clean
Staff could have smiled more. The hotel itself was fine but it seemed to lack a degree of 'atmosphere and warmth'

Convenient location near major attractions, including Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. Spacious family suite, though dated. English-speaking staff provided helpful service. All-you-can-eat buffet breakfast with Western options.

Very convenient and staff excellent.
The beds are too hard for most Westerners. But know this is a problem because mantyChinese like harder beds. Something for you to consider: Offer "Soft Bed" or "Hard bed" (like the trains.)

Good location near tian'anmen square and large clean rooms
The restaurants and bars are super expensive compared to other restaurants and the quality of the food is very poor. Especially the Italian on the top floor was super disappointing. Ther rooms are alright but the whole package is very disappointing and the hotel doesn't have a nice atmosphere.
